Country Hideaway

Finca Santa Teresa is a beautiful 3 bedroom country property located in a rural setting overlooking the Guadalhorce Valley. It is the perfect place for those who love country living, yet it is only a few minutes drive to the local village of Cerralba. This property is ideal for relaxing and savouring the peace and tranquility while enjoying the most breath-taking scenery of the valley and its surrounding mountains.

This fabulous home, set within a private olive grove boasts a large swimming pool (option to heat) and a well furnished terrace with BBQ & dining area. The colourful gardens surrounding the house are beautifully landscaped and immaculately maintained.

Inside this property, you will find a spacious, well presented living area that is very tastefully decorated and well maintained. Everything is brand new as the finca has just been completely re decorated. The living space is all on one level.

The front door of this beautiful home opens into a large living room with kitchenette and dining area. The room is bright and airy and is tastefully decorated with modern furniture. It boasts a log fire burner and is furnished with a comfortable sofa bed. The flat screen smart TV offers many channels to view. You will also find a dining table and chairs to accommodate up to six guests. The kitchenette has a modern sleek appearance with brilliant white cabinets and chrome appliances. It is very well equipped with all the utensils that you might require during your stay. There is a magnificent view from the kitchen window taking in the Guadalhorce Valley and its surrounding mountains. There are double French doors that open out onto a balcony overlooking spectacular views. From here, steps lead down to a private outdoor terrace furnished with a dining table & chairs.

A long hallway can be found just off the living room. It leads to three bedrooms (one ensuite) and a family bathroom. The main bedroom is a the very end of the hallway and boasts an en suite with shower. All bedrooms offer two single beds and plenty of storage space. There is a large family bathroom with shower.

This finca has retained an old world charm with double French doors and tradional wooden shutters on every window.

There is an air conditioning unit to cool or heat the property, it is located in the hallway.

A laundry room with washing machine is located in a building next to the finca.

Wifi access is available free of charge.

Although this home offers you all the amenities and conveniences you require to have an enjoyable and comfortable holiday, outside is where you will want to be! The large crystal clear swimming pool is a short walk from the finca. There are plenty of sun loungers for everybody to relax and enjoy the idyllic surroundings. Beside the pool you will find a BBQ and dining area. The prep area beside the BBQ has a sink, electricity supply and a small fridge to keep drinks cool. This house is surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and a 90 acre olive grove which is fully fenced and offers plenty of areas to explore.

The ideal place to holiday for those of you who want to enjoy a relaxing holiday but don't want to be too far away from local amenities, shops, beaches and other holiday activities. It is only a few minutes drive off the A357 and just a short drive is the town of Pizarra where you will find large supermarkets and the local train station.

It is very well located for exploring the unspoilt riches of Andalusia and visiting some of its beautiful white washed villages. Both Malaga city and Alora can be reached by train from Pizarra.

Despite being only thirty minutes from an international airport, ten minutes from a train station and good connecting highways to everywhere, this finca has a lovely ‘away from it all’ ambience – an oasis of calm and tranquility. Magical!

There are many places to visit while staying in this lovely holiday home. Here are a few recommendations:

MALAGA CITY is a must see. There are lots of places to visit including the beautiful Baroque Cathedral and Pablo Picasso's Museum. There are also many historical monuments including the Castillo de the newly restored Roman Theatre. The winding little streets and plazas are a delight with plenty of restaurants and bars to relax in. Malaga is also a great place to shop with lots of boutiques as well as large shopping centres such as Larios. Malaga also has some lovely family friendly beaches to enjoy.

ALORA is a typical white washed pueblo with its narrow white washed streets, nestled between 3 rocky hills and you can see the ruins of an interesting castle on the top of one of these hills. From the town square, you can climb to the castle. If you would like to sample an unspoilt Spanish village then this is the place to see.

Both Malaga city & Alora can be reached by train from Pizarra. Just park your car at the station and enjoy the ride - much more relaxing!

EL CHORRO is one of the most popular rock climbing attractions in Spain. West of Alora, you will find Malaga's “Lake District” (three artificial lakes created by a dam built across the dramatic 200 metre high Guadalhorce river gorge, known as the Garganta del Chorro). This gorge is famous for a dangerous bridge called Caminito del Rey (King's little pathway).

RHONDA is famous worldwide for its escarpments and views. The deep gorge El Tajo carries the river Guadalevin through its centre. Well worth a visit.
